Description of holdings on the general AMRC CD-ROM archive.

All data is filed in Julian Day (YYDDD) subdiredctories, where
YY is the last two digits of the year, and DDD is the day of the year.

All data is compressed using Unix compress, except all *.GIF and *.TXT
files.

           and 1 = 0 UTC,2 = 3 UTC, etc.)

AREA002n = Antarctic "Psuedo-Color" Composites (where n = 1 through 8,
           and 1 = 0 UTC,2 = 3 UTC, etc.)

AREA100n = Arctic Infrared Composites (where n = 1 through 8,
           and 1 = 0 UTC,2 = 3 UTC, etc. Many missing observation
           times..experimental)
