The installed AWS unit has a 3-meter tower with a horizontal boom supporting the antenna, aerovane for measuring wind speed and direction, air temperature resistance thermometer, upper thermopile for measuring vertical air temperature difference, and the relative humidity sensor. The electronics enclosure is mounted at the mid point of the tower. The gel cell batteries are placed at the tower base. The solar panel, located near the tower top, faces north.
