Nicole joined the AMRC in the fall of 2008.  She is an undergraduate student at UW-Madison majoring in atmospheric and oceanic sciences as well as English literature with an emphasis on creative writing. 

At the AMRC, she updates data on the center's ftp sites, fills data requests and assists with various other projects. Her favorite activity there is working with McIDAS.  

She has not decided on a particular area of study within atmospheric and oceanic sciences, but she is interested in both severe weather and climate change.
