Greetings, A weak ridge of high pressure continues to reside over the western and central Ice Shelf drawing low level moisture from West Antarctica. Expect fog at the camp early in the forecast, becoming more dense over the next few days as winds taper off. Thursday: Mostly clear skies with unrestricted visibility, reducing to 3-5 miles in light fog by mid-morning. Winds are forecast southerly 8-12 knots, occasionally gusting to 18 knots and shifting to the southeast in the evening. Friday: Mostly clear skies. Visibility is expected to be 2-4 miles in fog and southeasterly winds of 6-10 knots. Saturday: Dense fog will settle in around midnight, reducing visibility to less than 1/2 mile and producing vertical visibility varying between 300ft and 500ft. Winds are forecast to be light and variable. Cheers, Vincent Weber
