Greetings, A weak low pressure circulation over the central Ice Shelf draws low level moisture and cloud cover from west Antarctica over the Camp. Expect fog to be the dominant weather feature over the next few days as the low pressure circulation slowly transits westward. Tuesday: Overcast skies with visibility <1/2 mile and vertical visibility 100 feet occasionally lowering to the surface in dense fog and ice crystals. Winds will be light and variable. Wednesday: Continued overcast in dense fog with visibility <1/2 mile and vertical visibility of 100-300 feet. Winds are forecast light and variable. Thursday: Another dense fog day with overcast skies, visibility <1/2 mile and vertical visibility of 100-300 feet. Winds are forecast light and variable, becoming westerly at 5-10 knots after noon. Cheers, Vincent Weber
