Greetings, A weak ridge of high pressure resides over the Camp today as a weak trough recedes to the northwest drawing cloud cover with it. The ever-present fog is expected to finally clear on Sunday as increased winds are expected to dry out surface moisture. Friday: Low overcast ceilings are expected to lift over the Camp and visibility improve by mid-morning. Expect Partly cloudy skies with visibility of 4-6 until early afternoon. Then the heavier fog returns with visibility reducing to ½-1 mile and vertical visibility of 500 feet. Winds are forecast light and variable. Saturday: Partly cloudy skies with 3-5 miles of visibility in light fog, occasionally closing in to ceilings of 500 feet vertical visibility and less than 1/2 mile in dense fog in periods of extended lulls in the wind. The winds will continue to be light and variable in the morning hours, becoming northerly at 5-10 knots with occasional gusts to 18 knots by noon. Sunday: Mostly clear skies and unrestricted visibility as moderately gusty surface winds drive away moisture. Expect continued northerly through north-northeasterly of 10-15 knots with gusts to 25 knots through the day. Cheers, Vincent Weber
