Greetings, Low pressure over Western Antarctica provides some flow along the eastern side of the Ross Ice Shelf. A smaller low pressure system will develop to the south of Ross Island later this week as a large low pressure system progresses southwards from the Southern Ocean into the Ross Sea. All of the systems will provide enough upper flow to help keep fog from redeveloping over CIR for the next few days. Monday: Skies are expected to remain mostly clear for the day. Visibility will be unrestricted with no significant weather. Winds will be 8-12 kts in the morning, declining to light and variable by noon. Tuesday: Skies will be mostly clear for the day becoming mostly cloudy in the evening. Visibility will be unrestricted. Winds will be NE at 5-10kts. Wednesday: Skies will be partly cloudy in the morning becoming mostly clear by the afternoon. Visibility should be unrestricted for the day. Winds will be light and variable in the morning becoming SE at 10-15kts. Jenna Palmer
