Please see attached. High pressure on the ice shelf today with an area of fog evident on satellite imagery moving in from the northeast around Cape Crozier. Indications are for a low-pressure system moving up from the southeast on Sunday morning with strong winds and blowing snow through Sunday afternoon followed by light winds and favorable conditions through the remaining forecast period. Expect temperatures in the -35C to -40C range through the majority of the next 5 days outside of the wind event on Sunday. V/r Mark Mark Millen
