Please see attached. A trough of low pressure is currently pushing through the Ross Island region, bringing gusty winds and blowing snow through the evening. After the trough moves through later tonight, light and variable winds will prevail for the rest of the forecast period. The current model is hinting at a mild low pressure system developing for the tail end of Thursday, but we will monitor this low’s potential over the coming days. Temperatures will be in the -35C to -40C range through most of the forecast period (indicated by the yellow blocks). John Meyer
