Slight warming in the wake of the low offers reason for cautious optimism. Though temperatures in the -40 to – 45 range (expected throughout the period) can hardly be called warm they may prove to be workable. High pressure dominates, with no major systems in the current outlook – though one appears to be approaching on day 5, hence a bit of an uptick in winds on the far right of the slide.
