An intense Ross Sea low-pressure system continues to cause strong Herbie conditions this morning through the early afternoon.

Expect favorable conditions by Friday afternoon as the low-pressure system moves north. By Saturday afternoon indications are that

cloud cover and winds increase ahead of the next low-pressure system developing on the ice shelf and moving in from the east.
