The low pressure center now in place over the northeastern Ross Ice Shelf appears to have settled in – and is determined to be a nuisance over the remainder of the week. Expect extended periods of fluctuating conditions as various waves circulating around that low center strike the Ross Island area. As of now Thursday appears to be the best of the next five.
