Per your observation and posit through Thresher, FWC is tracking USCGC Polar Star to San Francisco. By 310000Z, a gale-force low pressure system is expected to be centered just off the central CA coast accompanied by northerly winds 20-30 kts/northwesterly seas (following) 12-15 ft along ship track heading towards the Bay Area.  Per MOVREP 250211ZMAR24, these conditions will exceed advisory conditions of 12-07-12/35. FWC-San Diego will issue an OTSR Advisory for the above conditional impacts from 310300Z to 311800Z.
