Record Cold Temperatures at South Pole in July, 2015

July 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th broke their respective daily minimum temperature records at South Pole Station, Antarctica. Here are the new records. The temperature of -76.1C/-105F on the 2nd broke the previous record of 74.8C/-102.6F set in 1988.The temperature of -78.4C/-109.1F on the 3rd broke the previous record of -74.3C/-101.7F set in 2010. The temperature of -76.2°C/-105.2°F on the 5th broke the previous record of -75.2°C/-103.4°F set in 1985.The temperature of -75.8°C /-104.4°F on the 6th broke the previous record 74.8°C/-102.6°F set in 2005. The temperature of -75.9°C /-104.6°F on the 7th broke the previous record 74.7°C/-102.5°F set in 1988. The temperature of -76.7C/-106.1F on the 8th broke the previous record of-75.6C/-104.1F set in 1998. The temperature of -74.8°C/-102.6°F on the 9th broke the previous record of-74.4°C/-101.9°F set in 2004.
