Expect clearing today as the low currently plaguing the area should slink away to the southeast, setting up a fair weather sort of day tomorrow. There’s another major low rounding the bend at Cape Adare, however, and it should make its closest pass to the Ross Island area on Thursday, resulting in red to yellow for that day. After that, current expectations are for fair weather to close out the week – but any slowdown of the movement (or closer approach) of that low will extend that Thursday redline accordingly.
