The present low draws away from station just enough this morning to lighten the winds. However, snow continues to accumulate on the airfield just in time for the low to circle around the ice shelf and redevelop its pressure gradient. As the low moves towards the Transantarctic Mountains, it redevelops its pressure gradient in time for another wind increase later tonight. A second low approaches and merges with the current low tomorrow, though it will likely draw away earlier in the week than originally anticipated.
