The low center that’s been generating strong winds is making its way eastward. Winds will diminish accordingly, but temperatures will fall, too, as dry, cold continental air makes its way into the Ross Island vicinity. Still, expect generally fair weather until near the end of the period, when a stronger low will begin to make its presence known with increasing cloudiness and a return of strong southerly winds.
