Station remains in a high pressure system with some lingering mist on the ice shelf, reforming as the airfield drops in temperature. Tomorrow around noon winds will increase at Phoenix as a large trough extends its pressure gradient from the Southern Ocean across the Ross Ice Shelf. A strong high develops later in the week, maintaining the tightened pressure gradient.
