Decaying systems near Ross Island will cause intermittent snowfall around Phoenix throughout the day. Meanwhile, a low on the Ross Ice Shelf will be tracking towards station as it begins decaying. It will decay as it hits station but will maintain a strong enough pressure gradient to accelerate winds towards the airfield, beginning in the afternoon. Once the winds begin increasing, expect sustained visibility drops continuing to deteriorate throughout the evening into tomorrow, with visibility frequently dropping below ½ mile due to snow and blowing snow.
