Forecast discussion: A persistent low-pressure system continues to cause periods of light snow and low ceilings today and tomorrow
morning. As the low center slowly moves to the north and high pressure moves in from the south a Ross Sea low moves southward
towards Cape Colbeck, well to the east of McMurdo. Indications are for clearing skies, good visibility, and lighter winds as temps continue
to trend colder tomorrow. On Monday a localized surface trough moves through the airfield bringing low ceilings and light snow, then
higher pressure fills in behind with favorable conditions lasting until end of this forecast period.
