High pressure dominates station today, decaying throughout the day and strengthening overnight. The shifting of pressure gradients may cause a short and moderate wind increase overnight. The high pressure system will begin tracking to the North and into the Southern Ocean as low pressure develops on the Ross Ice Shelf. Temperatures should steadily increase throughout the forecast period. A trough progressing in from the North will cause winds to increase on Thursday and Friday.
